The winch compatible Smartbar is different to the SB that is not winch compatible. Mine is winch compatible and the only way I could fit recovery points would be to space out the top mount as the winch cradle is bolted in to the lower mount hole, but not the top mount.

    Cheers..........Wayne

A little old thread I know, but I installed my Roadsafe recovery points on the weekend.

I have a Facelift 150, MY14 with the black Smartbar (with winch cradle I believe!)- http://s7.postimg.org/xuataip8r/IMG_9245_2.jpg
As Wayne said above, the top mount is spaced away from the chassis rail because of the winch cradle on the bottom hole mounts. A couple of washers in between the top hole, helped reduce the gap.

Before (with one bolt in the top to check it)- http://s21.postimg.org/rbac2d86v/IMG_9415.jpg
      After - http://s14.postimg.org/5xw13pw1d/IMG_9420.jpg

It may help someone else, as there were no instructions for Smartbars. Seems very similar to the ARB bullbar installs.

I had the same issue, I used a large 3mm thick washer. seems to work ok. your bar looks close to the car, is there chance that you can snap a pic of the 3 or 4 bolts that mount the bar/winch frame to the chassis mount? I would like to make sure I'm using the correct holes
