  • Rear Door Squeak Fix

    Hi there,

I had the "Rear Door Squeak" problem & found that the fitting on the edge of the door is in two pieces.

The two pieces are not a tight fit & rub against each other & the dust makes them squeak.

Just squeeze the plastic insert in & remove it.

Clean the dust from both parts.

A squirt of Silicon Spray, refit, squeak gone.

Thanks for that, it's been driving me nuts for two years, I'd put silicone spray on the part but hadn't pulled it apart.
Mine had strips of adhesive back felt around it so the factory had made attempts to resolve it, I cleaned it up cut some adhesive back Velcro and stuck it to the metal surround then refitted the plastic insert.
