I have had the same problem with my 2010 GXL and I recently read on here from someone (who I cannot remember) to simply turn the striker on the door frame (not on the door) up the other way and it fixed the problem instantly for me, hopefully it works for you. Cheers Dean
More to the story, you can also adjust it by loosening off the bolts and tapping it up or down. The captive nuts inside the body will actually move.
We actually did this on the aligner thingo also (below the striker) and lifted it so it's taking the weight of the door. When I flipped the striker it was 80% better. Once I adjusted it all, it's now 100% better and 2 weeks in.
