Paint protection

I'm about to pick up my new Parado gxl silver.

Just a bit of advice is paint protect worth it, eg like Tint a Car offers etc.. If I get a small scratch as i go throught the bush can it be buffed out???

Myself, I believe that these are just a load of crap. There is A LOT of fine print with these things. Had it done once to my Commodore when I picked it up a few years back. Never polish your car again they say, pfffft, 6 months later after a ding-a-ling with the dealer I was buffing away madly! It's just not that good.....

I am a bit of fence sitter on the paint protection. We have a Suzuki GV that is four years old. It has never been garaged or kept under cover and it has had paint protection (not from a dealer). The paint has kept a treat. I have never polished it and only wash it occasionally. So simply I am not sure if it works or not.....

Also, these products aren't designed to prevent the scratches from bushes etc.
A coating of regular carborundum wax is probably better for that.
The only thing that will really help is that clear pastic film stuff.

I would look at the several aftermarket options for Paint Protection than get it from the dealer. There are even some DIY options available out there.

Paint protection.... this is a pruduct that shouldnt be allowed to be sold as this.

Thses products are only a long lasting wax... so regualar up keep with a product such as mothers wax or any other will give your vehicle just as much protection without the huge costs.

The you have to re apply the protection once you buff out the scratch, i had it on a 4wd a few years ago and it was a pain in the a$$e.

Keep it well polished, buff the scratches as required and save your money. Personally i hate the stuff.
