I know this is an old thread.... I have just completed an 8000 km trip through central Australia, and crawled under the back of my Prado when I got back and was astounded at the rock damage to the underside of the car - for example the front edge of the towball frame has most of its paint taken off.
My Prado is a 2015 face lift GLX. Does anyone have any idea if the newer cars have the longer flaps fitted, and if not if you can get longer flaps or just have to make them up yourself?
