  • ABS light on inconsistently

About 30-40% of the time i'm driving the Prado (2015/3.0/D/GXL/15000kms), the ABS warning light comes on. Once it comes on it stays on until the ignition has been turned off then it disappears. It may not come back of for 1 or 2 times of using the vehicle. I used the Torque Pro app to check fault codes and 0 faults found. I took it to Toyota who could not find a fault nor were there any fault codes either.

Initially I thought it may have been to do with a dual battery instal I did but I am fairly sure it was happening before that, however I disconnected the SBI12 and replaced the booster diode for the original fuse but no change.

Any thoughts on what I can check that Toyota may have missed (slightly doubtful if it was even checked tbh)

    Thanks in advance

It happened on my 120 when I blew a brake light bulb.

Loose trailer wires can do it too I believe.
