I find the redarc great for my small pop-top (1.5T) but agree about having the work the dial. Slow speeds VS highway speeds VS sealed VS unseal roads is a bit of a pain but worth it for the lack of intrusion of the full-sized controllers.

Id image it would be great for off-road also, no reaction from the controller when cresting dunes or undulating terrain that can wreak havoc with pendulums...
    Cheers
    Micheal.

I love the redarc. Definitely the neatest looking unit.

Having just completed an 11,000km outback trip using my Redarc brake controller for the first time I have to say I am pretty happy with it. The occasional adjsutment is a small price to pay for the super neat install. Certainly no problems off road with this one.

Not sure how I ever survived with mechanical brakes in the past, electric brakes were sooooo much better, especially off road

        Cheers Andrew

Now that is a positive I hadn't considered. Thanks Micheal.

Digger did you run 2 wires to the rear? I was thinking of running the wires on my day off tomorrow and get the unit next week. Can you put up a picture of the wiring diagram please

No worries - my dad gets the green box though as he's been complaining about his jerky brakes whilst mounting spoon drains and speed humps!
              Cheers

You will be lucky to get a reply from digger, he hasn't logged in for nearly six months

I ran 2 wires to the rear in my 120, actually I got some 6B&S twin core with addition red and blue wires in the same run and upgraded my Anderson plug wiring at the same time.

                Cheers Andrew

Could you fit the body of a small remote mounted UHF radio in the spot that you put the brake controller ?
                  Cheers Ross
