Sorry to bring up an old thread, but which temp is more critical to monitor? Torque temp or trans pan temp?

It's the torque converter temp that needs to be watched - it is the one that can climb alarmingly

Hi all. I am thinking about replacing the old outdated touchscreen in my 2015 VX 150, and I was wondering if Scanguage data can be displayed on a modern replacement aftermarket screen (to save having a separately mounted display screen)?
assuming not, I might see if I can come up with a better mounting option....
          Cheers, Mat

Back in 2018 I got fed up with what was available (was in the middle of the DPF / White smoke era) and designed and built my own, which uses a 4" touchscreen and displays real-time data while I'm driving. The display sits in the storage cavity in front of the centre console. I'm in the process of revising it to interface with a 2023 GXL.

Nice. Interestingly, most aftermarket head units I've looked at have an optional (bluetooth) OBD2 connector, which can display on the (replaced) touchscreen. They are about $30. Anyone know what the difference woulf be with one of those and a Scanguage 2 or 3? I am happy to get a Scanguage, but it's more money and finding another place for another screen! Can I avoid that by using a basic bluetooth one that is compatible with my new (yet to be chosen) headunit? Mat
