    Lightforce XGT fitting on ARB deluxe bullbar

    A couple questions actually

    1. will these lights fit the bullbar
    2. and if so do they block too much air

    Considering maybe the 170 Striker HIDs as an alternative and more compact unit

    I've got a set on my rig and they fit with no problems at all. They don't impede the air flow at all - well, I've not had any issues since I installed them

      I am still a bit undecided all around. Selling my 120 with lights and things have changed a bit since the PIAAs I had with the HID etc.

        I have jsut had a set of Genesis fitted to the truck which has a ARB Saraha bar fitted and they have put them right in the middle. Looks great but I'm a little worried about the air flow to the cooling unit behind the grill. Where are your lights mounted?

          Hi Ken,

          I've used the stock mounting location provided on the ARB bar and I've not noticed any increase in radiator temps since I installed the lights.

            Ken, ive had Genesis fitted on my ARB deluxe from new, they are only 210mm, the XGT/Blitz are 240mm round. Click on my profile, theres a pic there.

              I went with the Genesis because the were a little bit smaller and i could fit an internal HID kit in them (took 30mins).

                Thanks for the reassurance. VXwesty your rig looks great. Here is a shot of my lights. Do you think they will be OK or should I think of moving them to the side as pe your rig. I had them put there because it was a firmer base, The Genisis now have the inbuilt balast and the foot is quite large, The normal fitting position would have needed to cut the cover plate on top of the bar to give it a level surace to mount. Comments please

                  I had a good chat with Bryan from 4X4 Osborne Park about the position of the Genesis and he assures me that with the Prado there is no problems with the spots in any position at the front.

                    I reckon they are fine where they are and they look great. Yu should have no problems with that location and to move them would create more hassle than its worth.
