Has anyone done their own TJM tray install? I want some info on what has to be done with the a/c pipe to get the tray to fit.

Hi Tony, all I did was a nice gentle push (around 1 inch) and had a mate hold it in place whilst I tightened the mounting bolt to the tray, it was easy. It is not a hard push and you only need around 10mm clearance between the battery and the AC hose as well as the radiator.

Yeah mate I figured that's all you need to do, on my old 120 I had bend the a/c pipe fitting the bullbar. It's just had me stumped for a few months because it's a fatter pipe and it has that smaller pipe branched into it didn't wanna crack that join and stuff my a/c! Comment

I have recently fitted the TJM tray to a 150 and not happy with the tolerance of the AC pipe in relation to the radiator or potentially to the battery not fitted as yet.
Do you have photos of your install you could post?

Thanks Hutch but looking for a close up of the pipe on a diesel (photo looks like a petrol).
The cradle I fitted looks the same with the same position for the AC pipe though. Trouble here is the AC pipe is too close to the radiator leaving the possibility of radiator damage. Depending what battery the owner goes for (possibly a yellow top) the pipe maybe too close to the battery as well. I can gently bend the pipe down to pull it away from the radiator (need 5mm more) but still maybe a problem for the battery, time will tell.
Would you have a close up of the pipe near the radiator and battery including where it’s clamped on the TJM cradle ?

Can someone please take a close up of the pipe near the radiator and battery including where it’s clamped on the TJM cradle ?
