Ok here's one do you. I bought a gxl radio setup of eBay top and bottom sections. It should just slip in right?

Yes, i just put the GXL type GPs radio into my GX and everything worked properly.

Righto, the stereo all goes in no worries but i dont have the steering wheel controls so connecting the iphone to it wont happen. may have to look into getting some......

the screen in the top section is another thing. Found the hazzard plug, but there is no plug for the screen. anyone know about this or have been in and had a look....

also need to find out were the usb cable plugs in, there is no stright forward solution to this but oh well, might have to get a Dig Options set up...

Yes, the GX does not have steeting wheel controls standard. I am in the process of adding them to my GX at the moment. I just need to find time to sort it all out.
