Radio Turns off by itself

Hi Guys,
I have a 2012 Kakadu and every now and then I will get in the car and the Radio is off, and I cant remember turning it off. Since It first happened I have been paying attention and yes it has started turning itself off probably three times a week
So I pull up Radio is on, turn off car. Get back in the car in the morning and start the car and Radio off. Its no huge deal but I don't think this is a feature off the car.:?:
Anybody experienced this problem or am I Robinson Crusoe on this one.

My GXL 2012 is the same. I think it stays on for approx 1 hour and then turns off automatic. Pretty annoying when washing the car or listing to the footy whilst camping and it goes off right at the wrong time..

hi there g, i think ozzy is talking about when he locks the car up for the night and radio has been on till he has hit the stop button for engine has had the radio on ,then when he gets back in the morning turns car on but radio needs to be turned back on manually again, cheera steve

I don't have this problem, but it does annoy me that the radio turns off when i turn the car off and automatically after a short period.

The way you can get around it is to wire the radio directly to the battery, with an in-line fuse, if it annoys you. Just have to remember to turn the radio off.

The automatic turn off is 1 hour after stopping the engine in anything but 'Park' for the auto gear box version, don't know whether the manual has the same 1 hour automatic turn off.

Radio as in Am/FM radio or something connected to the AUX?
I have my iphone connected and if I happen to start the car and forget to dock the iphone then the 'radio' is off.
Never had the problem with the actual radio not being on though.

Shocking isn't it!? That accessories turn off when you shut down the vehicle...

The Normal AM/FM Radio turns off. Not a feature that's for sure.
Coming up for a service in the next week. Will get Toyota to check it and Tell me that they cant get it to happen and there is nothing wrong!

I've never owned a car that has done that. It can hardly be an industry standard.
