What percentage of D4D's are sh&$ing themselves? Mine is still going great. Just have to get it serviced and look after it much like any petrol engine.

I've heard the D4D's are having clogged injectors, filters and fuel lines or something, causing problems? Something to do with our diesel not being refined enough compared to overseas? You guys would know more I'm sure

Yeah, I started reading all that but got a headache. At the end of the day it's all about what you're using it for, and for me I'm not hauling a caravan across the Simpson so the Petrol will do me. Plus the extra zip and previous experience with diesels make me want a petrol. Plus if you look at 2nd hand prices with 120 series the difference between diesel and petrol isn't great, not enough to worry about anyway.

            reggie,

I have a Clarion unit installed (CD, DVD, bluetooth, MP3, reversing camera, radio, mapping, Suna live traffic updates, and other components that I will probably never use) and it is a larger screen as well, however, I needed a different panel to fit the unit in the GXL. The installer obtained the panel for me, (in Sydney) think it might be from a Kakadu model.

It does have fuel consumption calculation in it somewhere, but I have not bothered to use it. I just fill up with petrol and drive. The unit cost me 2 grand, plus installation, plus the new panel, so is not cheap.

            Yowie.
