I have just purchased a tx3440 for an insane price, I am a bit handy with automotive things, I wanted to check something out with everyone to see if i'm on the right track with what i'm thinking. *absolutely overselling* LOL.
What I have figured is, most power source sockets are rated to at a minimum of 20 amps, conventional uhfs (like the tx3440) are rated no more than 5 amps. I figure, I connect 2x scotchlok connectors to both active circuits at the power source and one at the ground, and I wont have a problem with exceeding rated amps. True?
Could someone confirm or refute that?
thanks.
