  • Upgrading high/low beam

Have been wanting to upgrade lights for some time but so far have had a run around from various retailers as to what lights I should have put in. Some great reading on this forum but am quite confused. Have been given a set of Osram Night Breaker Plus H11's but not sure if I should use these. Could someone with a lot more knowledge than I suggest what I can get please? Thanks!

Have installed the Philips H11 globes, puts out more light and happy with the result. Do not do as much night time country driving any more, but it is enough light for me.

I have the Osram Night Breaker Plus globes for High (HB3) / Low (H11) and Fogs (H11).

In my opinion they produce a lot more light over the standard globes. Very happy with their performance.

Thanks for the feedback. Will try the H11's and see how they go.

If you go for the Osram globes I got them from http://www.powerbulbs.com/au/store/c...bs/fitting/h11 with free delivery. They come from the UK but might be a bit cheaper than here.

                Hi All,

Quick question - can anyone tell me the 150 Park Globe Type?

I am guessing it would be worthwhile changing it at the same time as it would look yellow in comparison to the Night Breaker Low/High beam swapover....

                Cheers,
                Kevin

                  Hi Kevin,
The parking lights are a T10 globe.
                  Geoff

Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado

                    Cheers Geoffury.

Just on the PowerBulbs website looking at Night Breaker HB3 and H11, they throw in a fair pair of W5W park globes. These are T10 yeah?

Also, I am guessing they would be colour matched to the Night Breakers - anyone had any dealings with this?

Not wanting yellow parks and white Low / High beams.....

                    Cheers,
                    Kevin

Response from PB - they will swap from standard yellow bulb to a Philips Blue Vision W5W to match the Night Breakers. Within an hour from submitting the order, I received confirmation it had already been posted and the tracking number!
