Similar to Winston, I ran mine through the passenger side firewall grommet, under the scuff panels and to the rear. I have removed my rear seats and have a carpetted ply floor, so on the little step up where the rear plastic scuff panels used to go. I mounted my dual battery isolator under there, and an Anderson plug on top of it. This plugs into my second battery which is stored in a battery box in the rear compartment, and runs the fridge as well.

I ran my 20mm twin core down the top of the chassis rail 2 and a half years ago, never had a drama. Running a cable that big through the inside of the car would've been difficult to run without trims not fitting properly after.

Have run all my cable in the past inside chassis rails.
I have found some curtain spring wire is good for sliding inside of the rails to fit a draw wire to pull the cables through. You can screw a eyelet in one end th attatch draw wire to

I ran my single 6B&S cable (used the body as an earth as it had a lower resistance than a length of cable) through the passenger side firewall grommet, then along underneath the carpet/kick panels, behind the passenger side rear panel (I took this out to install cable), through the trailer grommet and out to an anderson plug on the tow bar. The rear earth point is near the jack location and I mounted a anderson plug in the back to connect the fridge. The section too the tow bar was twin 6B&S which I also put in split tube. The tow-bar grommet was not installed properly by toyota, the rear area around the jack was full of dust. This grommet was very hard to get to stay in place, in the end I used a bunch of sealant.

Getting the cable down the side is fiddly, but can be done.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but..

Does anyone have pictures of, or can explain where the cable was routed through the drivers side chassis rail.

            Cheers.

              Hi Hoags
I fitted mine in the left rail, into one of the inside holes at the front near the firewall. Then exited from one of the rear holes again on inside of chassis rail.
I uded 6b&s cable twin with electric brake and brake feed in the same protective covering.
Narva number in a protective sheath is 5806, twin red/black only. Cant get the other oex number tonight.
              Cheers
