I have an Optima D34 AGM yellowtop as my current second battery in a dual battery setup. Planning ahead I'd like to go larger capacity(AH) battery when this ones life is extinquished. It appears that to do this, the physical size of the battery increases (naturally).
Looking at the tray this current battery of mine sits in, it looks like I could go another 50 - 60 mm in width at most, which takes it to around 310mm. Most deep cycle batteries around the 100Ah - 125AH range I'm after look to be around 325mm+ in width.
Does anyone have a battery in this capacity range that is smaller than 325mm or do people just make bigger batteries fit in the tray by moving things around??
