You don't need the LV version you know. In the 150 electrical section there is a thread useful wires or something like that. All you need is a wire that is +12V with ignition on and open circuit ignition off. Bear in mind depending which battery you are using you might need to connect that trigger to +12V too. Anyway all in the instructions.

Hi all,
I've also got the BCDC 1240 and have had no real problems with it. One annoying thing I notice is that when it is actually charging, I get strong interferance while listening to AM radio, when it reverts to float mode, the interferance goes away. Now some will say that is what you deserve for listening to AM, but I do like to listen to the footy. I contacted redarc and they said to check the installation, which I have done and also have had the auto elec do, but have found no loose connections or anything. I can only think it may be the position of the unit.
Anyone else have the same problem? any ideas on how to fix it? My team has now won a couple of games so will want to listen to them more.
