2014 Prado GXL DRL

Hi

Has anybody found any options of changing the DRL on the Prado 150 GXL from halogen globe to Led? Or point me in the direction of a thread that discusses this please?

Perhaps the easiest option will be to put a relay in circuit. The relay could direct the power to whatever lights you choose e.g. after market LED lights, in "off" position with the relay contacts "normally closed". When the headlights stalk is set to on, the relay could be energised to switch the normal lights on via "normally open" contacts.
I wish I had a wiring diagram, would be nice to know if they already had a relay in circuit. Could make things a lot easier!

The relay is in the relay box near the passenger's side firewall. Try that.

The relay box is empty in the GX. I think it's the same in the GXL as well.
