Lock/Unlock function not working

Hi all,

On a trip away this past long weekend, the locking and unlocking has started intermitently started playing up.
First thing thing in the morning I have to use the key to unlock the car, then it seems to work for a while. Leave the locked for a couple of hours and it no longer works. Same with locking it.

I tried my spare remote, thinking it may be flat battery in it but that didn't make a difference.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Yes.

I have three remotes; two of which are used all the time and the third spends 99% of its time in a drawer.

All three had the same symptoms within about a month of the warranty expiring.

Replaced the batteries and all three have been fine since.

I would suggest trying the battery in the remote first.
