Dash Lights not Working

Hi All. I've just installed a couple of accessory switches for my driving and rear work lights into panel in the lower right hand side of the dash near the starter switch. I couldn't get the accessory lights in the buttons to light up when the headlights are turned on and now all of the dash panel lights have stopped working. The instrument lights for the speedo etc are ok, but all the button lights on the steering wheel, dash buttons and radio won't go on. I've looked at the manual and checked all the fuses in the engine bay but no luck.

Has anyone lost their dash lights before? What am I missing?

It seems there's no luck on the dash light problem, so can anyone tell me where the fuse for the dash lights is?

I am also interested in best point to link in to for the dash panel lights for my added switches, been told it is the green wire in the area referred to by Potzzz which seems common to all lit switches but it is a mighty fine wire and am concerned it will take added load of 4 more switch lights even though they are tiny LEDs.
Also keen to know best point to take up ignition wire to activate my new fog light switch and onto relay for those lights. Understand in Vic these can be on without other lights so only need ignition.
