150 Series Reverse Camera

Hi there, does anyone know if there is a way I can manually turn on the reverse camera whilst in forward motion as well as keep the autonomous on when in reverse?

I want to do this as a precaution when im carting the kids pee wee's on the trailer as I cannot see them.. Not sure about others but I like to ensure my gear doesn't move or a strap break for a bike or something to bounce off.

There is a thread on how to do it somewhere on here. One of the other guys may knoe exactly where. If not go to Google and search "pradopoint 150 reversing camera" hopefully that can lead you the right thread.

Yeah the best way to search the forum is through google.
I am thinking about doing this mod now. Will be handy to check all is well with the CT.

I'll keep that in mind now.
Yeah, atm I just want it to watch the bikes in the trailer to make sure they're not moving etc and later on down the track to watch camp gear/trailer when the time comes around to buy one! Gonna be a slow process but i'll get there

Great idea! One question though, how do you connect the video to the head unit?
I'm assuming there is the reverse input - is there a second input or do you need to slice them together but just use power to toggle which camera is operating?
I'd love to know how it works out for you!

I intend to use a switching relay to manually power cameras (reverse or front) and a pair of switching relays to switch between cameras.
There are a number of posts on here of how to do it but when or if I get it working ill update.

does anyone know which is the trigger wire for the camera. im looking at the wiring loom behind the stereo
