Spare cable behind fog light.

Hi all,

This is probably a silly question but here goes anyway.

Last night I hit a 'roo, luckily very little damage but it did push my left hand fog light into the wheel arch where it was hanging by the cable. When I looked in to the area there was another unused cable in there. I wondered if anyone knows what the cable is for, I assume it is for something on a different model. I have the GXL.

I've noticed that too on my 120. Tried looking through the workshop manual and couldn't find it.
