There should be a relay for the horn in the cabin possibly near the ecu. The wiring diagram I have here is for a fj cruiser and that where it shows it's located so the 150 could be similar. Should be stamped toyota horn relay but don't quote me on that, it might just have a serial number .[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
The road less travelled is definitely the best road to be on

I have the same problem. It's happened over the past week. I tried to replace a fuse which seemed to work for a while. Tonight I ran a wire from the battery to the horn to rule that out as a problem, as I thought horns work fine. (Jumped a bit... ). Was there a way Toyota checked the switch was good on the steering wheel.2007 GXL Prado V6, Charcoal, Sovereign Bull Bar, Tow Bar , Coopers STT 265x70x17", 2" OME Lift, Black Window twin drawer system w Fridge Slide. *** Written OFF ***

Not sure if it's related, but my 2010 GX was recalled to have the spiral cord inside the steering wheel replaced, maybe check if your cars are part of that recall. It said is was related to the airbag, the wiring could rub through. It's probably a long shot, but worth a look,
