Have a look at these on the bottom of bar near tail light. Got them off ebay and give off good light when reversing.Click image for larger version

This is what I did. 2 LED spots came free with my lightbar.

Close up of roof light. The bracket is like this to make it that extra bit lower for carparks and it flexes so if it gets hit the light doesn’t break.

So what I am suggesting is mount that light using its bracket to the under side of the spoiler on the left hand side instead of on the pioneer platform frame.

I did option one and it's perfect especially for packing up the boat at night.

I mounted it on my roof rack because I have a drop down table on my rear door so when I'm using my table the light mounted on the roof rack still shines down on the table. It seems to work really well. I only use it for a camping light rather than a reverse light. I have made the cable long enough and I tuck it up in my awning cover bag and I've got a cigarette lighter connection on it so I just plug it in beside my fridge socket I the cargo area.

I'm thinking that I will mount the reverse light at low level on the tow bar. Can I tap into the reverse light wire on the trailer plug, go through a switch in the cabin and run the earth wire from the light to the earth wire on the trailer plug?
