  • Perth Auto Electrician

    Hi Pradonians,
I've got Leigh's volt diode installed, and Tim's Traxide SC80's turned up. I'm about to get a battery tray and a Optima D34 which I'll also install. However, as I'm too scared to run the wiring to the rear for fridge, Anderson etc, I'm wondering if anybody on this site can recommend a good auto electrician in the Perth area?

    Thanks in advance

    Vince

Don't know wether your south or north of the River, but I have used these guys in O'Connor for all my auto electrical work on the Prado and Cub Camper - have had no problems with them.....

        Great question Vince
Im NOR and need a good auto sparky for second battery hook up. Last guys left the apprentices to hook up the trailer anderson and battery wiring from car with approx 12 zip ties supporting the cable around the rear springs??????? Only found this while away ...
        Would appreciate any feedback
        Thanks Adrian

The last one was recommended in an old 2011 thread of the same topic.

They are right next to each other too, so they compete a bit.

I can highly recommend NCAE - they wired my brake controller and rear Anderson plug and did some free troubleshooting on a compressor for me. Top service, quality finish (manufactured a small bracket for the Anderson plug to make the install neater) and reasonable price.

                    Dugite

Did you get a chance to speak to them re. Electrical hook up? Or chosen who you felt more comfortable with?
I would be interested in your feedback inc battery and what system you opted for as I have had a pirranah batt management
system In the 120 series previously with no issues.
Iam however interested in the manual redarc so if in the event the starter fails I can bridge the secondary to at least start ( if this will work for cranking with the optima) I had a challenge brand hybrid previously that did all I asked of it giving 3 days of continual use running arb fridge
The other option is the dcdc so this can be utilised to run camper battery

Im hoping to get up there next week to discuss further

Keen to hear any other members successs stories with the above
                    Cheers Adrian
