This is where I installed one of my rear power outlets, above the inverter socket. I am a big fan of these Clipsal low voltage plugs and sockets.

I have been using those plugs since forever four in the Prado and another in the CT! Excellent plugs.

They were quite cheap and readily available. This century I have been using 30 a and 45 amp Anderson connectors instead. They are smaller, about a third the price and so far the spring contacts in the socket haven't gone soft.
The other problem is that the convention in Victoria was to have the top of the T as negative and th in NSW the convention was to have it as positive.
