Measure the size of the lens and find an LED pad that will fit. Possibly a 9 or 12 LED pad.

Can't buy the ones I did anymore but these look the same. They work really well in the map light sockets as well as throughout my caravan. Secret is to get the 6 Watt item for super brightness.

Use a 6mm plastic tube as a puller to remove the oem globes, they are very tight.

The map light globes in a 150 shine down, rather than sideways like those LEDS. Not sure how those would work, but I would be very interested in them if they do
White 2012 GXL 150 TD Auto. Work in progress. Aiming to spend less than when I kitted out the 120!

the led map reading lights I got as part of a kit from led lad were very weak, weaker than the original globes.

I'm keen to find some brighter map light leds only

When selecting LEDs, look for the numbers. For eg SMD5050 means that the LED's size is 5.0mm x 5.0mm. The bigger it is the brighter it is. I usually aim for a 5050 LED.

                eg. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/16-LED-50...tem3a802c9dc1*
