It turns out the thumper has a relay and circuit breaker built in. I may just need to make a few adjustments and could wire the lead with the alligator clips straight to my fuse block.

Its now hard wired in. Bolted to the top of my drawers. The plan is to possibly make my RH drawer narrower (as it no longer has a compressor in it) and install the compressor out of view.

Hi guys, I have a Dr Air Pro unit & have been very happy with it. Was going to consider an on board ARB unit using AMTS bracket but didn't have time to set up before a trip. Read somewhere on forum about adding Anderson plug to the clips. I have an Anderson plug at the rear by the tow bar and just connect when I want to inflate the tyres. Short connection to the alligator clips lets me hook up to battery on another vehicle. Don't need to carry it around when I'm in the city.

The Dr Air Pro and the Thumper looks very similar to the TJM compressor and may actually fit into the Mk2 combo bracket.

I have a thumper mk 2 and would be keen on mounting it there, which dimensions would you need to confirm this Andrew?

Ended up repositioning my compressor to in front of the Jack compartment:

The existing switch is usable in this configuration, but I may want to move it later...will require a real world use before this can be determined.
