Replacement Smart Key - HYQ14ACX
Hi All,
I recently lost one of my smart key for my June 2015 Prado 150 (Last of 3.0Ltr TD) and was quoted $550+ fully programmed from my local Toyota dealer.
I found on ebay a supplier (Taiwan) who sells them for around $165 AU. The key cost $35 to cut (Local Locksmith) and the reprogramming at the Toyota dealership was $45.
Toyota dealer said the smart key was the same as the 200 series Landcruiser and they were a bit reluctant initially but went ahead after being a little assertive.
All up it cost me $240 plus travel time. Significantly less than the genuine article and it works fine.
