  • Jump start quick connect at front

Hey everyone, well as always you finish one thing and something else springs to mind. I have seen a couple of people online that have put an Anderson plug in their bumper , grill and bullbar for quick connect for jump starting. There is one in particular but I can't find now where a guy added a solenoid inline with a switch inside the car so that he can cut power to the plug when he pleases. Now I have the wire and the plugs sorted but not quite sure about what solenoid I should be chasing as I'm using red Anderson plugs purely for jump starting. As always any help is appreciated. Thanks

I would be using a manual battery isolator myself. Why complicate things by using solenoids, extra wiring etc etc..

How often do you plan to jump start your car? I've needed a jump maybe 3 times in my life (I'm 37) simply due to flat batteries. Seems a lot of work that may never be used.
