A few questions regarding wiring of an android aftermarket stereo

I've just bought a joying 7" double din android car stereo for my 2013 prado 150 gxl 2013

I'm getting the fascia kit from autobahn and hopefully going to find a gx storage pocket / drawer for the lower double din slot (?wrecker ?toyota)

I've got some questions regarding wiring. I've attached the wiring diagram of the car to assist. (http://docdro.id/HoQDMWU)

Antenna Amplifier - Page 2 - 8C -> Can I just put ACC+ onto this so the amp is powered when acc is on? I assume this takes DC+12v

Microphone - Page 3 - 1,3,2,5 D -> I'm hoping to use the stock microphone to save have a tacky one floating about. My low level electrical understanding gives a microphone 2 connectors (the + & -). Any idea what the others are? Powered mic?

AUX plug - Page 4 - 15,17,18 B -> I'm hoping I can solder these up with the new stereos AUX in to save having stray wires etc.

USB plug - Page 3 - 7,12,10,9 E -> I'm guessing these are the USB plug. I'll try using the multimeter to see if 12E is 5v

Antenna - there is two antennas plugging in to the current radio a larger white one and a smaller blue one. Does anyone know if I can just join these together? solder them? Or any other ideas? I'm hoping just plugging in the antenna amp will give me good reception.

Hello, just to help us understand what you're looking at, are you able to post a link to what you have bought? I'm guessing it did not come fitted with Toyota connectors to plug straight in... If that's the case you still may be able fast forward a world of pain by purchasing factory connectors with fly leads that will match your new kit (colour coding is mostly standardised with aftermarket units).

I've got a ISO to Toyota plug that will sort out most of it. And I'm happy with the steering controls. It's just trying to use the stock mic /usb/aux plugs. And powering the stock antenna amp. It's All on that PDF, just unsure how to interpret some of it... Thanks again for your help

Just for people's information I'll put my progress here in case someone else decides to do the same.

I've ordered the storage bin/pocket/compartment that comes with the GX (to fill the hole of the original stereo, as the new one will sit where the current reverse camera currently is)

The part number is 55406-60360 and you can get it from carmarka.com for $140USD delivered. Will let you know how long it takes etc when it arrives.

Got it working perfectly.
Did need to power the antenna amplifier to get normal radio signals
Steering controls worked a treat, just needed to ground the ground wire for the buttons
Ended up running separate USB / 3.5mm AUX jack to save lots more soldering.

how do you find it performs res?

Im contemplating getting one. Particularly interested in how well it works with memory map and spotify. I just don't know if 1gb ram is enough?

Keep in mind I've only had it for a week (although I've play heaps with it and installed a custom rom etc).

I've found for general navigation and radio/music it works fine. Many of the issues go with the custom rom. Without it you need a couple of addon apps to get the steering controls etc to work with spotify or similar. I'm sure there are more polished units out there, but for $330 delivered, I can't complain.

The hardest part of the install for the GXL was getting the radio to line up with the hole in the fascia..... painful. but looks great now.

Not really. Lots of trial and error. I drilled sliders in the bracket so it gives unlimited rotation / forwards&backwards.

You'll get there. Looks awesome after.

That's actually a pretty good idea, I was messing around with washers but suspect it just needs to sit a few mm backwards.
