Can you get the Toyota trailer module? It plugs in and is a repeater.

In Australia that connector plugs into a small black box which connects to the trailer wiring. I'm pretty sure it's the same worldwide - if you look at the European instructions for installing the tow bar wiring their setup is the same.

The trailer wiring is connected via a "repeater box" which isolates the car wiring from the trailer a bit - that way if you short out the trailer wiring you don't blow up the car lights.

One Australian seller of the module is here but they don't sell outside Australia.

Does this repeater box have a fuse in it? My trailer indicators have stopped working and I can't find a fuse anywhere
