    That's a surprise, what brand of DCDC do u have? My CTEK 250S stops drawing from the alternator / car battery when the supply voltage drops below 12.8 V for 10 secs. The Redarc BCDC series works the same way (although may have a different minimum cut-off).

      If it is an LV model and the trigger wire is connected to the infeed it I'll pull down well below 12V.
