So a few months after I bought my 150 series the battery went flat for no apparent reason (no lights or anything like that left on). Jump started it then drove a good 400km that weekend, left it overnight and it died again.
Following this I bought a new battery as the indicator on the battery was saying it was dead, this seemed to do the trick until a few days ago when I didn't drive the car for 8 days, went to start it and the battery was flat again.
Took it to an auto-electrician, he couldn't find anything draining that battery and he said the alternator is fine. He attempted to charge the new battery and said it wasn't getting fully charged. He recommended I take the battery back to where I bought it and have it replaced.
Has anyone else had this problem? Seems odd that a brand new battery is doing this. To me the fact that two batteries have gone flat for no apparent reason it seems like something would be causing this, have no idea what though. On a side note my cruise control isn't working, perhaps this is related?
