Light switch not right

My 150 has 3 positions for the headlight switch (Off, Dot, On), "No Auto".

Well with my car the "Dot" position is actually lights off and the "Off" position has some lights on. The Full "On" position is how it should be.

Any idea why?

If you have a GXL then it's working as Toyota planned. "OFF" causes the headlights to turn on as DRLs (daytime running lights). Dot will turn on the front position lights (parkers).

I still think "Off" shouldn't make more light than "Dot", but oh well.

At least it's "Normal".

Off should also have the dash and radio on full brightness. They will dim when the lights are "dot/parkers" or on. High beam won't work when off either.
