2009 kakadu usb/aux not working with stereo -would it be head unit or plugs in centre console?

Try pulling the usb/aux module out and check the cable underneath is connected. Its clipped in and mine came out just by pulling a usb memory module out, which resulted in the cable dropping off the bottom of the module. There is not a lot of excess cable in the center console, I needed a torch to find the cable inside the console!

Once you successfully connect the cable to the module, you will need to restart the car for the radio to recognise the cable is connected again.
