Problem solved. As a coincidence, I had a scheduled service booked in 2 days after my life.
Asked the guys to adjust them down a bit for me, which they did at no cost - I was kind of surprised.
Job done.

No worries Ant. I still haven’t tried to align them and nobody is flashing me anymore. But they do need adjustment. Now that GayJ has pointed out the proper way to do them I will line it up on a dark street and sort it out. Otherwise I will get the dealership to do it at the 10k service.

Does anyone know how the auto-levelling work for the headlight? I saw it pointing downward and up a bit after being turned on, but not sure what it does exactly when we're driving.

This pic is the right side behind the headlights. Outer silver adjuster adjusts up and down, inner adjusts L and R.

As posted above you can use a long Phillip head screw driver and follow the markings on the plastic shroud. You can also adjust the sensor link on the right hand diff trailing arm. I believe TJM sell an extended link as well.
