Our reversing camera on our GXL 150 Prado (2011) has somehow become full of water. Pulled the camera apart and dried out all water (there was a lot) and unit is working but unfortunately the camera lens which I cannot pull apart has water on it and now the image is a dodgy blurry vision that is useless. I got a quote on replacing the camera through Toyota which is close to $400. I would love to simply find a camera that will plug into the existing plug at the back. Do these even exist? I need some advice please. Thank you

The connector isnt a big deal but the Toyota units run at 5V not 12V so you will need an adapter to make a 12V camera talk to a factory head unit. JB or similar will be able to help you out.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

How about the wide angle cctv cameras they use on drones available from plenty of places like the one below, from memory they only have 3 wires positive, negative and signal, some are also advertised as waterproof. Ive used these in the past and paid around 10 to 15 dollars delivered just a suggestion.
