  • Which fuse for OBD-II port?

When my start battery was replaced, the technician accessed the OBD-II port for some reason.
I usually have my Scangauge II plugged in but now it won't work.
The Scangauge works in my wife's VW Golf, so I assume the problem lies with the OBD port itself.
What fuse feeds the OBD port?

The technician wanted to keep the clock and radio settings intact and so plugged a battery into the OBD port. Check to see if the pins are not damaged and that the scangauge is plugged in properly.

amts, thanks for the reply. However, clock settings needed adjusting, so I'm fairly certain it wasn't a battery that he plugged in. I have fitted and refitted the Scangauge several times but it won't light up in the Prado as it does immediately in the Golf. That's why I'm hoping it is just a fuse somewhere.

My son discovered the relevant 7.5 A fuse in the fuse box under the driver's side of the vehicle. All fixed.
