Stedi's instruction that came with the piggyback plug itself is good, but not 100% comprehensive, still a bit of guessing to do. Let me know if you have any question and I'll see if I can answer given I just did it a few days ago.
Hey there.. I can’t even get the lights to work with stedi piggyback harness and kings wiring harness installed as instructed. Switch lights up on high beam at the switch only.. I’m sure I’ve missed a post somewhere here maybe?

Yes I have had the same problem I have just added in two additional relays as per the Toyota wiring diagram from their wiring loom

Did you get to work with the second relay?

Hi Sam , yes I can confirm this works , 3 relays in total, 1 with the kings harness mount in engine bay , 2 additional (jaycar 5 pin 30amp, with clip together relay bases)under dash bolted to the spare m8 lug directly behind the auto high beam switch panel, wired as per the Toyota wiring diagram, ill try post a couple photos.
only need to run the kings switch wires to cabin -disconnect switch, white red and black , disconnect common earth (black x2) from pin 86, just release clip from relay base and shrink wrap, use spare female connectors that came with both additional relay bases join the black from cabin switch back into relay base pin 86, splice red to switch to pin 30, 12v positive and connect to pin 87&86 relay 2 in cabin, white wire to connect to green wire high beam trigger pin 16 at stork, pin 12 light blue at stork low beam trigger to go to dash switch, pin 85 relay 2 to dash switch, pin 30 relay 2 to join 86&87a on relay 3 , relay 3, pin 85 to connect to pin wire at auto high beam switch, pin 30 to connect to black switch wire ran into cabin

                  Hi Brissy,

Haven't had a chance to look at the wiring of the lights yet. Wife keeps taking it to work. Maybe next week.

I want to find a high-quality LED lamp, do you know where to find it?

Question for the pro's. Looking at the Back of the light stalk, There are 2 green wires; one thick, one thin. Which one is the high beam trigger?

The wiring diagram I have shows only one light green wire on connector G44-Pin 20 (for the high/low beam selector switch). Connector G44 has 20 pins (2 rows of 10) and there may be other green wires in this plug. This connects an earth to the "HU" input to the Main Body ECU, indicating that the ECU is to switch to high beam. No earth results in low beam being selected. Driving lights SHOULD NOT be connected to the Hi/Lo beam selector switch wiring!

The ECU operates the H-LP HI (Headlamp Highbeam) relay, which applies Battery 12v to the Hi Beam lamps via the 15Amp H-LP RH-HI fuse (right headlamp) and 15Amp H-LP LH-HI fuse (left). The +12v output from the RH fuse is via a Green/Black-trace wire to the RH high-beam globe while the LH fuse output goes to the LH high-beam globe via a black wire.

Switching headlights is not as simple as the "old days". Adding ECUs in between switches and lights etc makes for much more complicated wiring.

has anyone made the stedi harness work properly? my relays activate with the park lights on - so i can just have spotties on with the park lights active. I have only used to scotch lock until i get it right, seemed a little wierd picking up a dash light feed for the light harness, did i pick the right wire, the instructions are less than clear for that step.

                          thanks

                          Lee.
