ICOM IC 450 UHF and RJ45 pass through woes ............

Finally mounted the ICOM IC450 in my 2019 GXL and then moved onto fitting the RJ45 pass through in the dash, only to find the mic curly cord plug keeps coming out of the female part of the RJ45 pass through. The place I bought the RJ45 pass through from gave me a new one which still does the same thing. The mic plug doesn't give an audible click to indicate it's locked in like it does with the extension cable from the radio. I'm over stuffing around with the place I got my present RJ pass through from. Can anyone point me in the direction of a new square 22x22 RJ pass through that they've used with a ICOM IC 450 that the mic plug locks into properly ?

Sounds more like the mic RJ lock is maybe not a standard size, measure it up and compare to a standard RJ plug.
