  • Windscreen Pump Continuous

Hi all, found I had some serious algae built up in the windscreen reservoir that blocked basically everything from the pump to the end nozzles.
So have flushed it all out and have replaced the pump and T-Piece splitter near the end nozzles.
Now I am getting water to the windscreen but not at full pressure and it is just continuous no matter if the windscreen wipers are activated or not.
Cannot see any leaks, so am not sure why it should continually run.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Okay further to this I have managed to turn them off by activating the lights (no idea why).
When I activate the lights the headlights spray activate once then it is all okay and both pumps (windscreen and headlights) are off and can be activated normally.
So am wondering if there is a relay or sensor that I need to look at as it is not making any sense whatsoever.
    Cheers

So you are saying the issue has resolved itself? Did you run the pump for a long time to clean everything out>? May have welded a relay contact or something. Or electrical gremlins..
