  • Disabling auto headlights on ex-mine spec prado 150

Hi. I have a 2011 ex-mine spec Prado 150. It is in good condition but the auto headlights is a real pain when you want the car running but no lights.

Does anyone know what controls this? Or where the relay is located that I should be looking for?

    Thanks in advance

If it's the same as the 90 series, (the lights come on when you turn on the ignition, and go off when you open the drivers' door) then they could have just shorted the headlight switch at the stalk connection or wherever that plugs into (the integration relay). Don't know about the 150, but on the 90 series the integration relay is behind the kick panel trim left of the accelerator pedal.

It will likely have a REDARC mine spec light module under the dash. Have a look around for that around the brake pedal area. https://www.redarc.com.au/lighting/daytime-controllers
