2nd Start Fault

Hello,

Recently when starting the vehicle it has periodically wnated to start in 2nd start and once working a little hard to start the 2nd start light is illuminated on the dash. We have tried reseting the 2nd start button to no avail. It appears to be very random.Has anyone experienced this problem or know where the fault could lie? Much appreciated.

Check your battery.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago at the same time as my battery was starting to die.
New battery and haven't had any problems since

Thanks Starbuck, I have checked the batteries and on engine starting they come in low (8.7 amps). I will have it checked out properely during the week though seems like a new set of batteries in any case. Hopefully it fixeds the issues. I will let you know how it goes and apprecate the feedback.

Had same issue a week ago, start battery tested at 17amps, replaced and no issue with 2nd start light since.

Thanks guys, Yes I did exactly that. It was time to replace the starter battery after 5yrs. Changed it a few weeks ago and problem has disappeared..
