First post, thanks for the add, looking forward to my build of yet another Prado. Had a 120 V6 VX, and loved it, so why not update...of course another V6.
The info on the interweb in general is pretty vague around alternator types for different models and with the V6 being fazed out, even less.
So the question is What type of alternator do I have? Reason is for a second battery under bonnet and isolation of it.
I had the Redarc BSI12 in the 120 and it worked great. Not sure that will work this time round. I have yellow top battery as auxiliary in a ABR Sidewinder tray.
