  • Relay Mounting Points

    Hey Guys,

Working through installing some lights (work light/light bar). and curious where/how people are mounting the relays in the engine bay?

Previously in my 90 series there were all sorts of bolts through the engine bay walls that were used for this sort of thing but the 150 seems to be a lot cleaner, but provides less options for this sort of thing.

    Thanks

I used 10g screw grommets to mount a high current circuit breaker in my 150 engine bay. A piece of 3mm aluminium angle was used as a bracket but you could probably get away with screwing directly to the side wall.

After checking what is behind where you want to mount your relay, drill an undersize hole and carefully file the hole square to snugly fit the grommet.
