Rear LED bar Lights / Reverse Light install / mounting
Hey all,
I'm wanting to buy a couple of cube LED lights for my 2016 Prado.
I actually want to mount them on top of the number plate housing on the back of the prado - so that black plastic housing with the Landcruiser logo and number plate.After measuring the 2 lights will fit schmick and won't cover up the chrome toyota logo just above it.
anyone done this or see any issues? I can't see any posts on this being done before so I question why. Yes the housing is plastic but I'm thinking of just adding 2 metal plates on the inside and outside that the lights will mount to for strength and stability of the housing.
I'm not a huge fan of the mounts / brackets that come off of the rear wheel mounting position, so I'm trying to find a more suttle spot for them
