Alarm randomly triggers when near car

~2012 model diesel. Car randomly starts alarming if you walk past it (ie. within a metre) with the fob on you. Doesn't happen every time. Has anyone experienced this?

Possibly panic button stuck in on remote. (If it has one). Take battery out of remote and see if it stops. If it does, check panic button isn't stuck down.

Thanks Piggy. The fobs have no panic button and it does it on both remotes... I have a sneaky feeling that it's environmental (ie. RF interference), but I thought maybe someone had experienced this before...
