Install 12v plug above 3 pin in cargo area

Has anyone installed a 12v plug above the 3 pin in the rear cargo area?

Does the little panel where that 3 pin plug pop out? Looks like it would

2021 GXL prado. Wanting to install 12v outlet to run the fridge

I piggy-backed a pair of wires and ran the cable under the rear door sill to the opposite side panel to run a fridge. Don't try to overload the power wiring from the fuse panel though. Regardless, before you cut the hole, make sure you have enough depth for the cigar socket to fit comfortably behind the panel. (I used a hole saw.)

My plan was to run a wire from aux battery through the firewall, under door trims and then install a 12v socket above the factory 3 pin.

The factory 3 pin is in its own little panel so wondering if that rectangular panel popped off and what us behind it?
